The Three Muskateers
Palomi 's last time seeing Owen before he moved to North Carolina. Her best friend since she was one. A sad day for the parents.

Another Giraffe Sighting.
This time, researchers were able to take some measurements before releasing it back into the wild.
The measuring tape is a big hit. Palomi loves to be measured. Owen later measured the width of a door: "Fifty pounds."
And yes, as soon as Owen evidences an interest in something, Palomi immediately and desperately needs it. When we were discussing an upcoming haircut recently, Palomi said, "I want it short, like Owen." Thankfully, that didn't last.

Easter...
... is for children. Palomi, Owen and Ben spent the morning hunting for Easter eggs, playing with bubble toys from Ben's Grandpa, and generally having a good time. A two-year-old Easter egg hunt is quite amusing - after finding an egg or two, it's time to sit down and inspect the loot, despite the adults exhorting you to find more eggs, pointing out where they are, and generally bothering you in your discovery of jelly beans and chocolate.
Check out this Easter video from Ben's (and Eleanor's) blog.
