Laukalt
We try to give Palomi warm milk at bedtime, believing that it will help her get to sleep better. She insisted on cold milk the other night. After some back and forth, I suggested lukewarm ("lauwarme") milk. Without missing a beat, our master negotiator shot back her counter-offer: lukecold ("laukalt"). She got lukecold milk.

Baking with Oma
Palomi loves to make Teig (dough). Pancakes and cake, mostly. She's a very unhappy camper if she can't help make the dough.
